This multi-tiered brand communications program targeting the U.S. Olympic Committee on why New York vs. San Francisco and Chicago should represent the United States as the host city for the 2012 Olympic Games.
Targeting the U.S. Olympic Committee, we wanted to focus on different aspects and perspectives of why the 2012 Olympic Games should be held here. We did this by creating several engaging and emotional pieces about New York that expressed why New York City’s cultural diversity, what it would mean to the children, and what its legacy and long-term positive impact would be due to having the Games take place here.
While New York was a finalist representing the United States, London was awarded the 2012 bid to be the host city for the Olympic Games.
